That may well be true, but if it is, why is this ad still running. Very disappointing. If/When you inquire, you'll eventually get five. You won't get the 15 discs, you'll get none. The problem is this ad. There's nothing wrong with the sander. It's a bait-and-switch. If/When you inquire again, you'll be transferred by Amazon to the shipper, who will tell you that Amazon made a mistake and all they agreed to is five discs.
Great little sander, light weight and powerful. The dust bag developed a little hole after about three days use.
Works great and the compact size is nice. The dust bag works better than I expected.
There are bigger orbital sanders vthan Makita, but heavier and harder to hold at the top of a ladder. Also Makita is a nice size for smaller window trim. Returned the small one and bought Makita and got extra sanding disks and a convenient carrying case. Checked theirs out and they said it was the way to go. Used it for about a half hour on flaking trim paint on my home, but progress was slow. I originally had purchased at about half the Makita price a smaller orbital sander than Makita which came without a carrying case. When walking dog noticed professional painters using the Makita which seemed a lot more substantial. Used it on my home and was pleased with the speed it removed paint.
I've racked up countless hours of use, never replaced the brushing, simply stuck new paper on it again and again. Absolutely fantastic tool, best money I've spent. I've abused and manhandled this little sander for nearly 5 years now. It's gotten to the point were the velcro is completely worn out from the amount of sandpaper this little beast has chewed through and it still keeps on going.
